吸引注意,积累语言。

Free talk: Do you know yourself?

What kind of person are you?

 

Say sth about   people’s personalities: kind, friendly, helpful, careful, interesting,   clever, hard-working…

 

学生用已有知识回答。

Step2

导出目标,生成结构。

1.Does Eddie think himself generous?

Listen and answer

(1) What is the interesting article about?

(2)  What makes generous people   feel good?

(3) What happens to Eddie’s breakfast in the   end?

(4) Is Eddie willing to share his breakfast   with Hobo?

2.Read the comic   strips after the tape.

学生回答关于漫画的问题,引出本课以及本单元主题:人物性格。

回忆相关知识,初步运用结构。

1. Can you describe your good friend’s personality to your partner?

2. What is he /   she like ?

Finish Exercise   A on P7

 

Tell sth about   their friend’s personalities.

 

学生运用词汇回答相关话题。

 

 

Step4

呈现刺激材料,活用教材。

Millie and her   classmates are talking about their own personality and the kind of job they   like or dislike. Listen to their conversation and answer the questions.

1.        What   is Millie’s personality?

2.        Can   Paul make a good accountant? Why or why not?

3.        What   does Sandy’s art teacher say about Sandy?

4.        What   is David’s personality?

 

Ss listen to the   dialogue and answer the questions.

Ss learn the   important notes..

 

学生听对话回答问题。

学生学会使用对话中出现的重点语法知识。

Step5

引发期待行为,强化结构。

Discussion:

1. What are important

personalities of a good friend?

2. What is your   favourite job?

Ss have a   discussion in groups

学生组内讨论,必要时老师可以创设情境帮助学生。

Use the words   about personality to make a dialogue like Part B.

 

Ss work in   pairs.

Homework
